Dr. Heman S. Dalal

Being a principal of A.S.Mandals C.H.C.Arts, S.G.P.Commerce  and B.B.J.P Science College Taloda is really a proud privilege. And I feel very proud and fortunate to shoulder this responsibility our college is a very small but reputed educational institute in Nundurbar district which has catered to the educational needs of the thousands of rural, tribal and underprivileged youths of this mofussil area.

Situated at the foothills of the Satpuda mountain ranges, our college was established in 1971 by the great freedom fighters, social workers and devoted educationists. It was intended to disseminate education among the neglected grassroots of our society. Nandurbar is still at the bottom of the human development index and most of the college students in our area are the first generation learners. They have to stuggle with the most adverse circumstances. Imparting education to such youth of under privileged sections of society facing all kinds of deprivations.

Taking all these things into considerations, our founding fathers came together. They mobilized the like minded people who were dedicated to the welfare of the masses. The college was established in the most adverse situations and under severe resource crunch. The generous donors of the society sustained this noble cause and the college is growing and thriving today. We have a very good educational infrastructure. We have three UG programmers with 6 courses at special level in arts faculty, 04 courses in science faculty and general course for commerce. The college has 3 P.G. Programmes and 5 doctoral research centers. The college faculty has shown its consistent progress in research and publication. Our faculty members regularly participate in various national, international semimrs conferences and make contribution in the syllabi framing workshops. The college is very much proud of its research and publications as well as books publications.

The college management has always supported the and guided the teaching and non-teaching staff and has always kept the core values of universal brotherhood, social justice, women’s empowerment, scientific temperament, upliftment of weaker sections, research and innovation and wholistic education as fundamental to our vision. We have been tirelessly striving for perfection and trying to bring about the empowerment of the rural, tribal, and other weaker sections of society. We are committed to the values and principles enshrined in the Indian constitution and are trying to translate the same into actions.

The college management, teaching and non-teaching staff are dedicated to the realisation of the vision and mission of the institution. It is our dream to provide the best possible infrastructure and educational facilities to our students and impart the best quality education and enable them to make a bright careers and contribute for the development and welfare of the larger society.
